Configure sending mail with GoDaddy WordPress Hosting

GoDaddy 's WordPress Hosting packages allow you to send email notification, order notification ... normally. However, some of you after uploading data manually may need to configure a few more steps for the email to work.

In this article I will guide you to install the WP Mail SMTP plugin of WordPress. This is a very popular plugin with over 500,000 users. On all WordPress websites, I installed this plugin to configure and test the sending function.

Email configuration for GoDaddy WordPress Hosting

First, log in to WP Admin (with the link http://domain.com/wp-admin/), click Plugins (Extensions) and select Add New .

Then search with keywords: WP Mail SMTP and then install, activate the plugin.

Activation is complete, go to Settings (Settings) , select Email . In the configuration page, please reset the parameters properly, similar to the following:

nside:

From Email : email address (preferably a domain-specific email with Yandex or Zoho )
From Name : sender name
Mailer: chọn Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.
SMTP Options: select similar to the picture above

Finally, click the Save Changes button to save.

Check the mailing function

After saving, you can immediately check whether sending mail is sent by entering the email address in the Send a Test Email section , if the message bool(true)is successful:

Wait a few minutes later there will be an email too.
